Ker Cuez was born in 1991 within the new folk movement of the 90s alongside groups such as Dhais, Fol de Niu, Matto Congrio or Chouteira with whom he shared the stage, awards and in some cases (Fol de Niú, Chouteira) recording projects.

 

This first stage lasted until 1999 when the lives of the members diverged for different work and family reasons without any of them disassociating themselves from the world of folk and traditional music.

 

Already in 2017, they decided to resume the activity by incorporating drums into the formation. This new addition together with the experience of the projects in which all the musicians participated in the previous years make up the new Ker Cuez project that offers a mixture of old and new Galician folk with current timbres and harmonies without losing the personality that formed in its first stage.

In the year 2022 they decide to collect in a new recording work(Night owls)the music they are already taking to the stages.
